To reinstall the software, "restore to an earlier date" has been used to restore your computer to an earlier date than the date on which the software was originally installed. WARNING - The "restoration of an earlier date" may delete files after restoration. I had no experience operating a camcorder until I purchased. Detailed instructions, with the group, and when I became acquainted with some of its many functions, I found it very comfortable to use. The clarity of movies recorded on DVDs and photos on the SD card is of higher quality. Both are stored on DVD movies and photos stored on the SD card can be delivered to the device by connecting the camcorder to the TV via the cable to the camera (I found that the DVD can be completed in the first) be considered. The software comes with the camcorder advertised to appear (designed especially for "vista") that do not want to edit movies, download pictures to my computer. I contacted Panasonic about the problem twice already, but technicians were unable to help me install the software. I suggested that the software is faulty and asked for another disc, but had no further response from Panasonic since late May 2008. I hope I can get the software working on my "Windows Vista". Here is a quote from p. 26 of the manual: "Can not moving pictures recorded on an SD card with this device." Apparently only still images can be recorded on SD card with this camcorder. This despite the fact that SD cards are now up to 8GB, far exceeding the capacity of a DVD. December 11 people found this review helpful. Problems with the completion of Donna Earley bought this camera and have used it a few times. I had no problem finishing in first, but the second time I used it I get "Failed to complete" messages, though I can watch videos on the camera, it can not download to my PC, there's completion is not required to retrieve the pretty frustrating. I'm trying to reach tech support for help, but if anyone has seen, let me know. I do not have Vista, I have XP Pro. All 17 customer reviews ....
